Eddy J Moors is a professor of water and climate at Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. He heads a research group on climate change and adaptive land and water management at Wageningen University. With a background in hydrology and climate change research, Moors has co-authored more than 90 peer-reviewed papers and other publications. Over the years, he has coordinated a number of national and international projects, including Himalayan Adaptation, Water and Resilience; HighNoon; and MareClim. He is the chair of the network of Dutch professionals working on land and water issues, the Dutch coordination lead for the Integrated Carbon Observing System, a steering board member in the public-private partnerships between Nestlé Nespresso and the Columbian Coffee Growers Association, and a member of the board of trustees at the Naga Foundation.
